Hi. I've played the electric guitar for a while now, but I have not got into scales, and there's a few things i don't understand.
- Why can you for instance start on an F# in the G major scale? Is it because it's still the same scale, just another degree?
-Some scale patterns are 16 notes long+. Is that because you can link several G major scales together?
- How do I link scales together?
- I don't know where to start off. With the C major scale, the G major scale... Should I start learning the notes in the scale, flats/sharps?
