I just started playing again after about 20 years. Hoping to correct old bad technique. I found PB earlier this year and have been working on mainly technique exercises. I have found that as I play ladder, chromatic, scale exercises, that when I move from string to string, the previous string continues ringing. I'm trying to use PB scalpel picking with hand held above strings. (not muting) If someone could give me some suggestions or point me in the right direction to correct this, I would appreciate it.
