Today is June 16th my 326th day of practice time with Pebbers lessons.
Between working, old fucking sore hands Covid depression and a sore arse, not to mention the relentless metronome
constantly beating out looser, looser in 4/4 time, still here averaging slightly at this point over an hour a day.
I've already learned so much but starting to feel the wane as i'm still on right hand picking exercises.
Not the kind to skip forward but a plodder..Jesus...if he existed would be disgusted at this point.
Any way just popping my head up to say i'm still here digging my ditch.

Day 86, averaging 2hrs a day, concentrating on the right hand scalpel picking, never really used a pick up til now, my thumbs giving me jip.
On two scales now E and C Major.
The theory class is awesome, first time i've understood the circle of 5th's and 4th's, can now write out key signatures and analyze major scale patterns, this is helping me build my own chord library. Still learning all the notes on the fretboard but way better at it, this makes EVERYTHING much easier. Persisting at the basics knowing musicality will follow.

Well, day 43 of my practice schedule, i'm averaging approx 1.5 hrs a day, right hand scalpel picking, wow it's hard work but starting to see results, metronome at 100 beats and am up to 4 beats for now approx 30 to 40 mins, then on to E scale, 4 notes per string, the stretches are tuff but again seeing progress.
No short cuts, I'm all in
    Thanks Pebber

    Hi Pebber
Enjoying your YouTube videos, they challenge me and make me laugh.
I’m a 60yr old singer songwriter been playing guitar for 30+yrs now, pretty good songwriter average guitar player.
This last year I’ve begun using a pick to learn Freddie Green style to sing and play the American song book tunes.
I’ve been consistently practicing a minimum of an hour a day during that time.
    I’m up to twelve songs.
This has led me to begin going deeper into learning, structure, notes on the fret board, Triads.
To date I’m on the C major scale up and down the fret board, related triads etc
I have made progress but honestly it’s all a little daunting but I’m determined to stick at it and continue.
I see the need for systematic direction, target goals etc.
Am not sure how and where to jump in with your online course, any pointers?
I do sincerely appreciate your time, skill level and your ability to teach with precision and humor.
    All the best
