Description After close to fifteen years as a hack player, I've spent the last two relearning music theory and trying to apply it to the technique of guitar. My inspiration has been watching Whit Smith of Hot Club of Cowtown blow any other guitarist I have every seen out of the water. So, that is what I want to play like. Currently, I am working one lesson per week through Mickey Baker's jazz guitar method book. It takes tons of time to get it right and I'm committed to doing so. Eventually, I want to be confident enough to play a regular gig at any local dive bar that will let me. My current instruments: - Rogue dreadnought 6 string acoustic (personally setup so it actually sounds good). - 2009 Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II - 2010 Kala Tenor Ukulele (TEMQ) - 2009 Mitchell Concert Ukulele (Currently wanting to trade in my Rogue and my Epiphone for an acoustic archtop; but I'm in a holding pattern on that.)
