Learning about guitars

I purchased several weeks ago an Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Classic Pro which I took back a few days ago and got hit with a charge and only have store credit now. Anyway, that's beside the point. I am borrowing a Squire to practice with. I love practice and what Pebber has laid out for us. I notice Pebber uses a Tele a lot on the videos. I am a novice at this time and would like some feedback. Oh yeah, this is my first post and I would like to say hi to the other members. Thanks.

Hiya Bruce,

I'm a telecaster fan: something about the shape and the "feel" of my mexican tele just suits me and I love playing it. I've got a few other guitars but I always go back to that tele. My advice is to try out a BUNCH of other guitars at a few places if you can, and spend a good amount of time just playing around on them. Try them all! Sometimes guitars that don't appeal to you aesthetically can feel fantastic when you try them out. Remember that things like string gauges, the action of the guitar etc all affect the "feel" of the instrument as well. I'm a beginner to the PB system too, so I'll follow your progress as I make my own :-)
