Thanks. Many guys he knows from here are already there. Link is for 7 days. If he misses a deadline let him send me a message again. Hope we see him soon. :) Cheers
are there still people here who are practicing these days and willing to go on learning following Pebber's methods, get in touch (here or by sending private message).
We can still help and motivate each other, more experienced players and students could help the ones who progressed less by now.
People could still give each other advice and suggestions on how to practice some things or how to learn them (at least by pointing out the best Pebber's youtube video on some concept).
Even such small things as for instance saying this and this .mp3 from Pebber's site should be used with this and this .pdf to practice this and this concept as Pebber shows in this and this youtube video (if any).
We can do it here, or make another forum someplace else as this one is no longer maintained, or make any other kind of community to somehow be there for each other on our guitar ways and keep the memory of Pebber and his teaching, and save it from being lost and forgotten.
If no one close to Pebber continues offering his pre-recorded videos for sale, we could, like Drazzirg suggested in the previous thread make it a task to form some place where we could gather and share the materials and those videos (for instance make them available to anyone who can provide some "proof" of being a serious student and subscriber by sending a video-swap link where one can see Pebber's feedback in the comments or an excerpt of a zoom lesson, or forward his welcome to the lessons e-mail or something like that).
Share and give your ideas and thoughts on the matter but try and get in touch if you are interested and still love learning guitar as Pebber taught it.
saw your comment on reddit ( I posted something along the same lines there).
Pebber made so much stuff available on youtube, but of course pre-recorded videos for subscribing students were much more detailed and thorough.
It is hard to know whether those subscriber videos and materials will ever be made available by someone in the future.
I would also like to have those at some point as they are pure gold.
Since we don't know will someone close to him continue selling those videos, should we allow for some period of time to see what happens before we share those subscriber videos.
I don't even know how to find out about that or who to ask for that matter (even if I did it might be too early to ask people close to him about such stuff).
Anyway, hopefully, at some point interested students will be able to acquire those videos somehow.
I tried contacting some of the forum members who were recently online or studying with Pebber recently through private messages to see what is their opinion or current student status, but haven' received any answer yet.
In any case, really sad for his family and friends, and a great loss for his students and the guitar community in general.
Here are some of my picking practice videos with some fretting hand stuff added.
Picking on one string all down with chromatic scale and chromatic shifting NOTE: I should really be picking the notes on he 16th and 1st fret twice in the first half of the video
Picking adjacent all down with ladder 3-4 and chromatic angling NOTE: Not really a proper way to do ladder exercise (each note should be picked only once) here I just used it just to keep fretting hand busy while picking
Picking down up with permutations and extended pentatonic pattern NOTE: Shouldn't be lifting fingers after playing a note while doing permutation
Picking down up with pentatonic pattern and while holding down a chord
