    How does one upload a video to this forum? My video einfügen skills are not very good.

    Hello,
    I suffer from having my non-fretting fingers 'float' away from the fretboard when they are not pressing down on a fret, with my pinky forming the classic 'cup of tea' pose in particular. I was wondering if I could expect them to become more controllable and hover above the fretboard if they were stronger as a result of doing some serious trill exercises? I'm a beginner and I have terribly weak and undeveloped fingers. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks.

    I use an Apogee Jam device to connect my electric guitar to my MacBook Pro. One end connects to the cable from the guitar and the other end plugs into the USB port on the Mac. I then connect my external speakers to the headphone port on the Mac and run Garage Band, where I have a large selection of amps and stomp boxes to choose from and fiddle with. The sound is quite remarkable and the Apogee Jam can also run through an iPad, if necessary. I am not affiliated in any way with the device but I thoroughly recommend it.
