Hey Pebber,

I just bought William Leavitt's book "Reading Studies For Guitar" and in it, he notates a Diminished scale(at least he calls it Diminished), but it's not the standard Diminished scale everybody knows(m3, m3, etc...) he notates it like:

E-F#-G-A-Bb-C-Db-Eb-E

I don't know what the heck this is...some advanced scale, it's even got 8 notes!

Do you know of this scale, Pebber? Or anybody else know what it is?
