Are my scalpel and sarod motion right?

I just started practicing these two techniques...
But I want to know if what im doing is right before going full on practicing with these motions.
what do you think?

Looks good, YamiFrankc. You'll just want to work on the wrist movement for sarod picking, because it feels odd. For me it still feels a bit stiff but I'm working on it.

i like to think of sarod as having a key jammed in the door and wiggling back and forward to free it.
Pebber describes it as stirring a drink vigorously with a spoon... good idea to practice away from guitar then lower pick to string,,,thats when it becomes difficult ... i'm no expert but yea looks about right...
