I haven't tried them and this is the first I've heard of it. Interesting.

I've been a George L's user since...well...since I got my first job and was able to afford my own gear!!!!

They've never let me down.

I use the George L's too they are some of the lowest capacitance cables available.

Cables are weird. There as SO many boutique brands. Some are extremely expensive.

One time I worked in a music store. We had cheap cables and mid priced stuff. So the owner sent me on a mission to find a good "high end" cable.

One of the companies I talked to, the guy on the phone said, "Ursin, I'm not a musician. I'm a physicist."

See, this cable stuff gets too weird for me sometimes!!!!

I'm not a fan of Behringer but thought this deal was pretty interesting - it's basically an entry level guitar/amp combo package for about $135 and the guitar has built in USB out. In light of the cable discussion I think it would be interesting to see if there is a difference in sound between the 1/4 inch and USB outs.

Rob, they've got a cable out there to convert your guitar output to usb and split it to an amp at the same time. That way you'd still have a great guitar with awesome sound instead of this little pos Behringer. My nephew has one and he says it works great.

cool I have a pod xt live that does that too but the windows drivers are pretty flakey

Wanted to throw some love towards Austin, Texas and my good friend Lee Jackson. Everything Lee builds is top quality. Check out his Active Gain pedal which is used by Jeff Beck. Lee has rebuilt several amps for me and they are just fantastic.

Pick it up Rob! I've never been dissatisfied with anything Lee has built or designed. If it's good enough for Jeff Beck, it's probably good enough for us mere mortals!!!!

I use a boss DD-6

Have traded in my Spider II for one of these Spider Jams.... Hell, it's no Valve amp but it can be used to run backing tracks, loop ideas and because it has a small tweeter it works as a PA for playing an MP3/Ipod player at a BBQ's or for running a Keyboard ect so way more versatile than what I had.
