I would just like to give pebber a big thanks for all the free lessons on youtube.

Ive been playing for about 4 years and felt like I wasnt really improving my playing much.

I found pb's youtube videos a few months ago and have been watching the daily practice routines almost everyday (slowly going through the other videos also) & I can feel improvements in my playing my left hand is alot more accurate and stronger thanks to these lessons.

so again thanks pebber for the free lessons I dont think there is anyone else who has put up so many free lessons on the net.

Im going to be trying my best to stick to your lessons and try to learn as much as I can

Pebber thanks for sharing what you've painstakingly studied lessons.
Know that your efforts are appreciated and your generosity will be a legacy for more generations of guitar players to come far beyond everyone in this forum's lifetime.

By the way, we're neighbors (san dimas)! makes me proud. hehe.

Pebber exposed me to an entire different universe not only with his videos, but his music interests as well(beck, mclaughlin, holdsworth, lane, martino, etc....these guys are monsters not to mention PB himself). Watching him perform with his band on youtube makes me VERY grateful to call him my instructor. If you guys haven't watched PB's guitar soloing in this vid check it out.....might be one of the most amazing things I have seen.

Good thread

I'll echo whats being said around here... MASSIVE respect to Pebber. His videos came to me at a crucial moment and helped me get into the mindset that mastering an instrument is actually something attainable through hard work. I honestly would have quit a long time ago by now if it wasn't for the videos. Thank you so much Pebber!

I started rehearsing again last August with a Jazz trio - worked with them every week until about Jan 26 or so. Had to bail out due to Graduate School and teaching time commitments. No group right now - way too busy teaching full time and working on my PhD. Perhaps in June I will startup again with some NEW guys. I will be doing a lot of writing and recording in any case. I do miss playing with a group - its a great feeling even if only once a week.
