I'm about to order this DVD next month... but I'm curious about some stuff it may contain...

Does it approach in any moment on picking as focus on muting non-played strings over the single not playing or it's a subject for second level DVD... and also, does it involve directional skipping calculated for real life playing in any case... at least on some chordal stuff...

Also, I'm curios does it explain Swybrid picking(sweep/hybrid) in any way and also, hybrid picking downstrokes(or alternating up-down with fingerpicking) in any case...

Also, does it contain some "paradiddle" picking ideas... a combinations of double directional(some people would say "unidirectional") and alternate picking directions...for example 2 down-1 up on the same string ideas and similar combinations/permutations...

Anyway, I watched the sampler... it looks badass. I can't wait to get my payment to order the DVD.

No Debilius it doesnt contain anything like that. IT goes through all my exercises on the Picking Exercise Worksheet one by one, one at a time from different viewing angles and with different timing. DVD 1 covers 2.00 through 2.36. Its only $26 plus shipping.

I have the picking exercises dvd and love it. My technique and strength are improving every week. When I get a little more confidence I will post a video. I have only really been playing 6 months. My father was a jazz clarinetist in New Orleans ,and always encouraged me to play. He even bought me my first guitar when I was fifteen which I still own and play. My father passed two years ago and I am learning to play in memory and honor of him. It doesn't hurt that I love the sound of the guitar either. Any way listening to Pebber reminds me of him and for the first time I am starting to make some sense of the guitar. Thanks Pebber and put me down for the new dvds as soon as they arrive. Ashan - do you want the first one now or do you want to wait for all 3 of the series. I can manually send them to you if you can pay thrrough PAYPAL or mail an international Money Order.

These DVD's cover 2.00 through 3.80 on the Picking Exercise Worksheet in great detail with lots of drills and timing ratios.

The first 8-10 DVD's are ALL picking DVD's. There is a lot to cover and I needed about 20hrs to do just PART of it.
The Left hand technique DVD's are next up. There will be a LOT of those as well. After that then the Scales DVD's.
I've got my work cut out for me for sure.

8-10 DVDs covering picking only... what the heck!

... and I've naively thought I will get everything on picking in the first two or three DVDs...

Better for me to start saving money and wait... after ordering the first one of course...
